Sylvie Brounstein, M.S.Ed., is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching and social-emotional learning. As a First Grade Teacher and Co-leader of the Second Step program at St. Philip's Episcopal Church and School since August 2023, Sylvie fosters a passion for learning and confidence in students. In addition, Sylvie serves as the Lead Instructional Coach for Social Emotional Learning at Breakthrough Miami, providing training to staff and developing classroom plans for approximately 700 middle school students. Previous roles include K-6 Educator with Teach For America, Patient Care Advisor at NuLife Institute, and various research assistant positions at the University of Miami. Sylvie holds a Master of Education and Social Change and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, graduating summa cum laude.
