Ryan Eli Salter has a wealth of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2019, they were Co-Founder of Breadless, a premium sandwich shop that wraps chef-inspired sandwiches with fresh and nutritious greens. In 2018, they were CEO/Founder of Salt + Ko, an award-winning catering and events company. In 2017, they were an Experience Designer at Dctionry. From 2009-2018, they worked at Cordelia Donovan Inc. as a Marketing Consultant and Board Member, providing expert advisement for the public relations and marketing firm. From 2009-2017, they were also employed at FCA - North America in various roles, including Mobile Manager for Product Development & Marketing, Area Manager for the Western Philadelphia Market, Area Manager, and District Manager. In 2008, they were a Marketing Associate at DS Enterprises, where they developed and reviewed comprehensive budgets and secured celebrity and periodical endorsements for promotional projects.

Ryan Eli Salter's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Japanese, Marketing, and International Business from Villanova University from 2004 to 2008. Ryan Eli also completed a course in Culinary Entrepreneurship from the International Culinary Center in 2015. In 2007, they studied International Business and Marketing at the Queensland University of Technology.
