F E Udwadia is currently an advisor at Breach Candy Hospital Trust. Prior to that, they were the head of labs at BSES General Hospital from November 2006 to September 2008. In that role, they were responsible for the day to day smooth functioning of the laboratory, including hematology, microbiology, serology, biochemistry and clinical pathology. F also trained healthcare workers in infection control practices and supervised and advised on infection-related issues within the hospital. F has also presented data on antimicrobial susceptibilities and monitoring antimicrobial resistance trends.

F E Udwadia completed their MD in Microbiology at GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai. They then completed a D(ABMM) in Medical & Public Health Microbiology at the American College of Microbiology. Afterwards, they completed a Dip HIC in Infection COntrol at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London. Finally, they completed a DNB in Microbiology at the National Board of Examinations.
