Michael Komp has a diverse work experience in the fields of business development, executive leadership, and GIS technology. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Enriched Ag since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Director at the Conservation Technology Information Center from April 2019 to July 2022.

Michael also served as a Natural Resource Specialist at the university from 2010 to 2014.
Prior to working at Saint Mary's University, Michael gained experience as a Technical Writer at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) from May 2007 to July 2009.
Michael Komp obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Natural Science with a focus in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Michael attended this institution from 2004 to 2009.
After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science from 2009 to 2014.
During their time at Saint Mary's University, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013. The specific field of study for their MBA degree is not provided.
