Andrew Carlberg is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in cloud data ingestion and user behavior analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Braze since March 2022, Andrew has designed and maintained the Cloud Data Ingestion product, integrating it with major platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, and Data Bricks. Previously, Andrew worked at Hulu from May 2016 to March 2022, where responsibilities included gathering requirements for client instrumentation and developing a Proof of Concept data store for user playback sessions. Earlier experience includes a role at Amazon from August 2013 to April 2016, contributing to the launch of Alexa’s music player and supporting third-party integrations. Andrew also held engineering intern positions at Amazon and Snoball, and served as a Resident Advisor at Texas A&M University while earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution.
