Luiz Moretto serves as the Executive Director of Internal Audit & Loss Prevention, Chief Audit Executive, and Global Head of Internal Audit at Braskem since November 2016. In addition, Luiz holds the position of Compliance Committee Member at Cetrel since June 2021. Prior to Braskem, Luiz was the Head of Internal Audit at Via Varejo SA, managing a corporate audit department and successfully restructuring the audit team to enhance productivity. Luiz's career began at EY, where over a decade was spent as an Advisory Senior Manager, leading projects in internal audit transformation and risk management across various regions. Luiz also worked as a Senior Consultant at PRGX, contributing to audit planning and internal control practices. Educational achievements include an Executive MBA in ESG & Impact from Trevisan Escola de Negócios and various certifications in compliance and governance from respected institutions.
