Yu-Kai Su is a Materials Science Researcher at Braskem America since June 2023, focusing on the development of sustainable polymers to promote a circular economy. Prior experience includes serving as Head Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included lab coordination and training new teaching assistants. Yu-Kai also held roles as Hazardous Waste Manager and Graduate Teaching Assistant during that time. Previous experience consists of a Research Internship at Chang Chun Plastics Co., Ltd., where polymer formulations were created, and an Undergrad Research Assistant position at National Tsing Hua University, involving protein expression and purification. Educational achievements include a PhD in Polymer and Organic Sciences from the University of Florida and a BS in Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University.
