Chris Best has held various roles in the field of finance throughout their career. Chris started as an Accountant at John E Atkinson & Co Accountants in 2008 and worked there until 2011. In 2012, they joined MGI Sydney as a Manager in Tax Advisory and remained with the company until 2019. During this time, they gained experience and expertise in the field of tax advisory. In 2014, Chris took on the Chief Financial Officer role at both BrandLink Australia and The Kinetic Agency, where they worked concurrently until an unknown date. In 2019, they joined Lyre's Spirit Co as their Chief Financial Officer and is expected to continue until the end of December 2022.

Chris Best completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) with a focus on Accounting and Business Law at UNSW from 2008 to 2011. In 2012 and 2013, they pursued a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Currently, Chris is enrolled at UNSW for a Master's Degree in Applied Taxation, with no specified end date.
