Nick Rusch has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Nick began their career in 1983 as a Marine in the United States Marine Corps, where they served until 1993. During this time, they worked as a TERPES/EW Analyst and later became a TERPES/EW Analyst Instructor.
In 1993, Rusch joined Brandes Associates, Inc. as a Systems Engineer and worked there until 1994. Nick then moved to California Microwave Inc., where they served as an Application Engineer from 1994 to 1996 and later as a Program Manager from 1996 to 1999.
From 1999 to 2008, Rusch worked at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Sr. Program/Product Manager.
In 2008, they returned to Brandes Associates, Inc. and held several positions, including Program Manager from 2008 to 2009, Engineering Business Area Manager from 2010 to 2011, Engineering Business Unit Director from 2012 to 2014, Director West Coast Operations from 2015 to 2018, and Director of Products & Strategic Development from 2018 to 2020. Nick currently holds the position of Vice President of Products & Strategic Development at Brandes Associates, Inc. since January 2021.
Nick Rusch has a diverse education history. In 1988, they attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, where they obtained a foreign language proficiency in European Portuguese. From 1981 to 1983, they studied at the University of Arkansas, focusing on chemical engineering. Additionally, Nick Rusch has obtained several certifications. Nick received the Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters International in October 2012, followed by the Competent Leader certification in June 2014. In June 2015, they achieved the Advanced Leader Bronze certification from Toastmasters International. Nick also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2016.
