Aaron Spevack is an accomplished scholar currently serving as an Associate Researcher at NELC - Harvard University since September 2022 and as a Senior Research Associate/Muslim Chaplain at Brandeis University since August 2019. Spevack has extensive teaching experience, having been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Harvard University for the Summer School program, covering topics such as Islamic law and finance. Additional roles include Visiting Scholar at NELC - Harvard University and Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School, focusing on Islamic legal methodology and women's rights. Prior academic positions include Assistant Professor at Colgate University and Loyola University, as well as a Mellon Post-Doc at Hamilton College. Spevack holds a PhD in Arabic and Islamic Intellectual History from Boston University and a BA in Humanities from Harvard University.
