Steven S. has worked in various roles since 2003. Steven started as an Undergraduate Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003. Steven then moved on to become a Lab Technician at United Vaccines/Harlan Sprague Dawley in 2004. In 2008, they took on the role of Senior Lab Technician at Harlan Laboratories, Inc. In 2014, they became a Research Specialist/Facility Specialist at WiCell. In 2018, they moved to UW Program for Advanced Cell Therapy as a Cell Manufacturing Specialist. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Scientist at BrainXell, Inc.

Steven S. began their educational journey by obtaining a Technical Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology Basic from Moraine Park Technical College in 1998-1999. Steven then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999-2003. Finally, they obtained a Certificate in Stem Cell Technologies from Madison Area Technical College in 2012-2013.
