Joël Besse is a strategic advisor at Save the Children Global Ventures since December 2023 and an angel investor in multiple life sciences, foodtech, and deeptech startups, including Longlive and MAG4HEALTH. Besse founded Momentum Biotech in October 2015 and serves as a director at Affas Besse Advisors Ltd, a healthcare consulting firm established in June 2007. Additional angel investment roles include Core Biogenesis, BrainTale, Therafast, QurCan Therapeutics Inc., and Astrocyte Pharmaceuticals. Besse holds a Master of Engineering in Missile and Space Systems Technology from ISAE-SUPAERO and a Master of Science in Theoretical Mechanics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
