Andrea Castelli is a seasoned professional in biomedical engineering with extensive experience in research and development for medical technology. Currently serving as a Research and Development Project Manager at Brainstorm since July 2021, Andrea focuses on project development. Prior experience includes roles as an R&D Med-Tech Product Engineer at Rehametrics, where product features were enhanced for accuracy and reliability, and as an R&D Engineer at Fundacion Instituto Valenciano de Neurorehabilitación, contributing to neuro rehabilitation studies. Andrea's background also encompasses biomechanics engineering at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where imaging algorithms for motion capture were developed, and as a Product Development Team Manager at Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia, overseeing the development of medical technology products. Andrea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Master’s Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València.
