Sasan Farid has extensive work experience as a software developer, with positions at various companies throughout their career. Sasan most recently worked at BrainBox AI as a Software Developer starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at OpenText as a Software Developer from November 2020 to April 2022. Sasan also had a role at Cerence Inc. from October 2019 to June 2020, where they contributed to projects related to A.I. In addition, they worked briefly at Nuance Communications as a Software Developer from August 2019 to October 2019.

Sasan Farid has also gained experience in teaching and research. Sasan served as an Instructor for C++ at Concordia University from March 2018 to May 2018, where they were responsible for course material, teaching, and evaluation. Sasan also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Demonstrator at Concordia University from September 2014 to December 2017, assisting professors in various programming courses.
