Sanjay Srikumar has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2016, they worked at Matrox as a Software Quality Assurance (Automation) and later as a Software Quality Assurance. In these roles, they generated automation tests, modified existing codes, and manually tested Matrox hardware.

In 2018, Sanjay joined Motorleaf as a Hardware Quality Assurance Specialist, where they developed the hardware QA department. Sanjay tested Motorleaf's hardware and improved its functionalities by developing new test cases focused on UI and data communication.

From 2018 to 2022, Sanjay worked at CanmetENERGY-Varennes as a Project Engineer in Renewable Energy Integration and as a Research Assistant in Renewable Energy Integration. In these roles, they led and completed multiple research projects, conducted studies on grid integration of renewable energy, analyzed substation cost data, and processed energy price and demand data using data analysis tools.

In 2019, Sanjay briefly worked as the Head Basketball Coach at Ecole Secondaire Des sources.

Since 2020, they have been working as the Head Coach of Basketball - RSEQ Division 1 at Ecole Secondaire Saint-Laurent. In this role, they effectively communicate with young athletes and prepares them to perform at a high level. Sanjay also helps organize tournaments with hundreds of participating teams.

Most recently, Sanjay joined BrainBox AI in 2022 as a Data Analyst/Developer.

Sanjay Srikumar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power and Renewable Energy) from Concordia University, which they attended from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Sciences degree in Pure and applied science at CEGEP - John Abbott College from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Sanjay has obtained various certifications. In 2009, they received certifications in Making Ethical Decisions, Performance Planning, and Nutrition from the Coaching Association of Canada. Sanjay further expanded their knowledge in 2020 by completing the Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines course from LinkedIn, as well as the Python Essential Training course from the same platform. In 2022, they acquired certifications in Introduction to Data Science in Python, Introduction to Python, and Introduction to SQL from DataCamp. Furthermore, Sanjay has also demonstrated an interest in sports by completing the Canada Basketball - Learn to Train Young Athletes certification from the Coaching Association of Canada in 2019.
