Roy Beckham has over 30 years of work experience in the marketing and design fields. Roy began their career in 1989 as a Graphic Designer for North Coast Medical, where they designed catalogs, brochures, trade show graphics, ad specialty items, web graphics, product instructions and packaging, and art directed and managed product photo shoots. In 1997, they were promoted to Advertising Manager, where they established timelines and scheduled production activities to ensure project milestones were met for all advertising materials, directed internal Advertising Design staff and all outside vendors, and coordinated project traffic from routing layouts and proofs to approval of final deliverables. In 2000, they were promoted again to Marketing Director, where they developed brand identity and marcom strategy for proprietary and exclusive product lines from concept to post-launch, coordinated marketing activities with vendors and all internal departments to ensure brand consistency, synchronized sales efforts and cost effective product distribution, and negotiated with domestic and international vendors establishing processes, best practices and specifications concerning product design, production, quality and packaging. In 2009, they left North Coast Medical to become the Owner of Roy Made That, where they were responsible for design and marcom project management, developing branding and identity materials including logos, brochures, packaging, websites and trade show graphics, and catalog production including design, layout, copy, photography, prepress, mail preparation and press check. In 2013, they joined Bradford Technologies as a Marketing Manager.
Roy Beckham holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from San Jose State University. Roy has also obtained two certifications from lynda.com, Final Cut Pro X 10.1.1 Essential Training in September 2014, and Lighting a Video Interview in August 2014.
