Rick Trautner, M.D., has an extensive career in psychiatry, currently serving as the President and Attending Psychiatrist at Bay Psychiatric Associates since September 1987. Trautner held significant leadership roles at Herrick/Alta Bates-Summit Medical Center as the Medical Director of Mental Health Services and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry from January 2013 to June 2023. Additionally, Trautner contributed to education as an Instructor at UC Berkeley Extension and held the position of Medical Director at Bay TMS from June 2011 to June 2023.
