Rhona MacInnes is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in corporate affairs and public relations. Currently serving as the Senior Internal Communications Manager at bp since August 2021, MacInnes has also held the position of Communications & Advocacy Manager for the North Sea region. Prior to bp, MacInnes was the Corporate Affairs Director and Corporate Communications Manager at Ithaca Energy from November 2019 to June 2021. Additional experience includes roles at Chevron as Policy, Government and Public Affairs Team Lead, COSLA as a Policy Officer, and the UK Ministry of Defence as an Investigative Desk Officer. MacInnes holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Middle East Studies from the University of St Andrews, a Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The University of Edinburgh, and a Certificate in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
