Laura Mackay is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Auditor at bp since July 2023. Previously, Laura held the position of Director of Upstream Research at Wood Mackenzie from January 2022 to July 2023, where leadership was provided to a team delivering in-depth analysis and insights on the energy industry. Laura's extensive background at bp includes roles as Performance & Portfolio Manager, Exploration & Appraisal Manager, and Geoscientist from 2006 to 2021, focusing on strategic formulation and value delivery in global exploration activities. Additionally, Laura completed the Sloan Masters in Leadership & Strategy from London Business School in 2021 and holds a PhD in Geoscience as well as a BA, MA, and MSci in Natural Sciences (Earth Sciences) from the University of Cambridge.
