Mary Kate Benson serves as the Special Events Coordinator and Director of Volunteer Services at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware since July 2014, where the volunteer program encompasses over 1,000 volunteers annually. Previous roles include Education Director, overseeing aftercare programs and lesson delivery for students, and Coordinator for the Mike's TEAM mentoring initiative, which received the "Outstanding Mentoring Coordinator Award" in 2016. Mary Kate also held a Commissioner position at the Governor's Commission on Community and Volunteer Service, advocating for volunteer efforts statewide. Additional experience includes working as a Relief Manager and Guest Services Assistant at the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware, and roles with Public Allies Delaware, where contributions included communications and tutoring. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from West Virginia University and attendance at Delaware Technical Community College.
