Mike Charlesworth currently serves as the Director of Program Development at Twin Rivers Council, BSA, since October 2024. Prior to this role, Mike was the Development Director at Golden Gate Area Council-Boy Scouts of America from June 2022 to October 2024 and served as a Unit Serving Executive at Northeast Illinois Council from April 2011 to October 2024. Mike also held the position of District Director at San Francisco Bay Area Council Boy Scouts of America from August 2019 to May 2023, where a passion for serving the diverse community and promoting camping opportunities was evident. Earlier experience includes customer service at Comcast Cable from September 2007 to September 2010 and serving as a Residential Loan Officer at Enterprise Mortgage Funding from September 1997 to September 2007. Mike completed a degree at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 1992 to 1997.
