Neil Young has been working in the technology industry since 1998. Neil began their career as a Software Engineer at Microprocessor Designs Ltd in 1998. In 2000, they moved to Mirion Technologies, Inc. and held the role of Hardware Engineer. In 2012, they took on the role of IP Video Systems Technical Lead and Software Engineer at Mirion Technologies, Inc. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Bowman Power Group Ltd since 2022.

Neil Young attended Brookands Colledge from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained their HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Neil then went on to study at Brunel University London from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in electronics & systems engineering.
