Jared MacDonald is a seasoned sports reporter currently serving as the primary beat writer for Western Kentucky University athletics at Bowling Green Daily News since August 2019. Previously, Jared worked at The Ledger Independent from September 2016 to August 2019, where coverage of sports events and content creation for both the newspaper and its website was a key responsibility. Earlier experience includes reporting for Eastern Maine Sports in 2016, along with roles at WHDH-TV as a sports intern and at Lasell College as a Phone-a-thon Supervisor. Jared holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Lasell University, completed in 2016, and graduated from Dexter Regional High School in 2012.
