Ryan Shrum has worked in the software engineering and web development fields since 2008. Ryan began their career as a Production Intern at Indianapolis Monthly in 2008 and then moved on to become a Specialist at Apple. After that, they held a Web Designer/Developer role at Cassis in 2009, followed by a Front-end Developer role at TrendyMinds in 2010. From 2011 to 2016, Ryan was a Senior Front-end Developer and then a Software Engineer at eHouse Studio. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Boundless Immigration. Throughout their career, Ryan has worked closely with product owners and design teams, implemented and maintained component libraries, and audited and refactored codebases. Ryan has also led UX and UI development teams and provided CMS author experience.

Ryan Shrum attended Zeeland High School until 2005 and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from the University of Indianapolis in 2009.
