Scott Chapp has a diverse work experience. Scott started their career as a St. Lawrence Chemistry Fellow at St. Lawrence University in June 2014. Scott later became an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the same university in August 2014 and held this position until May 2015.
In August 2015, Scott joined Vanderbilt University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and continued in this role until May 2018. During their time at Vanderbilt, they also served as a Graduate Research Assistant from May 2018 to April 2021.
Scott then joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2021 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and worked there until March 2022.
Currently, Scott is working as a Scientist I at Boulder Scientific Company since March 2022.
Scott Chapp began their education at Maine West High School, where they completed their high school studies from 2007 to 2011. Scott then proceeded to St. Lawrence University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, with a minor in Statistics, which they completed between 2011 and 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, Scott continued their education at Vanderbilt University, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry from 2015 to 2021.
