Gerard Boucher

Founder, CEO & Chief Strategist at Boucher + Co.

In late 1999, Gerard Boucher built his first website. He quickly developed a passion for digital media, and soon launched a leading entertainment website. While serving as CEO, Gerard discovered the secrets to building customer loyalty, customer engagement, and a successful brand. The website rapidly grew to a 20-person staff, attracted visitors from 100+ countries, and generated more than 100,000 hits each month.

Gerard founded Boucher + Co. in 2007, looking to apply the principles he learned while operating his website to businesses large and small and developing fresh ideas into successful businesses through exceptional, targeted, and measured digital strategies.

As Founder & CEO of Boucher + Co., Gerard is the agency’s number one Brand Ambassador, leading new business development efforts, strategic agency growth, proprietary software development, and day-to-day operations. He is experienced in both creative and business strategy, and is fascinated by the connection between both areas. He is working tirelessly on discovering new ways to drive customer engagement, and finding the last formula for content virility.

Gerard is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the American Marketing Association, and the Advertising Club of New York. He is a Certified Google Partner in both Google AdWords and Analytics. He was a keynote speaker at the 2015 Fashion Digital Conference in Los Angeles, where he led a panel on digital marketing for e-commerce brands, and a Featured Speaker at Thought Leaders in Business, a monthly gathering of New York City business owners who debate strategies for business growth.

He serves on the Executive Boards of Latino Youth for Higher Education Program, a non-profit organization that provides immigrant students with access to higher education, and Revel Apparel Group, the parent company for several luxury and apparel e-commerce brands.

Born in New York City, Gerard has long experimented with entrepreneurship since he was a child, having operated everything from lemonade stands to magic shows before launching his first website. In his spare time, he works with other young entrepreneurs on mentoring them and developing their business ideas. He attended the Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York, studying corporate communications and public affairs.
