Boikanyo Trust Makubate is a Full Professor at Botswana International University of Science & Technology, specializing in mathematics and statistics since February 2015. Responsibilities include teaching, conducting research, and providing statistical consultancy to various sectors including business and government. Additionally, Boikanyo serves as the Acting Dean of the Postgraduate School, overseeing the development and coordination of postgraduate programs and budgetary management. Previous roles include Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at both Botswana International University of Science and Technology and the University of Botswana, and Research Fellow at The University of Dundee, focusing on clinical data analysis. Boikanyo holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Statistics and Medical Statistics from the University of Glasgow, a Master's degree in Biostatistics from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Botswana.
