Wathapelo Ramantele is an experienced accounting professional with a career that spans over a decade. Currently serving as an Accounts Officer at the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) since February 2014, Wathapelo has developed extensive expertise in financial management. Prior to this role, Wathapelo held the position of Director-Finance at Washmate Laundry, effectively overseeing daily accounting activities and managing the accounting staff to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Wathapelo's career also includes experience as an Accountant at Rural Industries Promotions Company (Botswana), where responsibilities included managing creditor accounts and reconciling statements. Wathapelo holds a Postgraduate degree in Enterprise Risk Management and an AAT qualification from Botswana Accountancy College.
