Martin Carey is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in manufacturing and process development within the medical device and cleantech industries. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Technical Team Lead at Boston Scientific since September 2021, Martin is focused on the design and development of a microfluidic product. Previous roles include Process Engineering Manager at Sure Finishing, where Martin designed and commissioned a structural insulated panel production line and developed a quality management system. As Process Engineering Manager at Comeragh Controls, Martin contributed to the design and development of advanced clean technology systems. Martin's early career includes positions as Manufacturing Engineer at Boston Scientific, Group Manufacturing Engineer at Duggan Steel Group, and Process Engineer at House of Waterford Crystal. Martin holds a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Limerick.
