Yuri Orellana, MS, PHR, SHRM-CP, is a seasoned professional in human resources and training, currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at the Boston Public Health Commission since May 2001. Orellana has extensive experience in managing programs for homeless services, championing diversity and inclusion initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Previous roles include Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Administrator, where Orellana successfully recruited qualified professionals and managed payroll for over 250 employees. Beyond human resources, Orellana has a strong background in translation and training, having coordinated translation efforts for various organizations and designed professional development programs focused on health equity.
