Hans de Vette has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Hans began their career at VEK Adviesgroep in 1986, where they served as an International Horticultural Consultant for 21 years. In 2007, they joined Van de Knaap Group of Companies as a Business Development Manager, a position they held until 2012. During this time, they played a key role in expanding the company's operations. Hans then joined Van der Knaap Group of Companies in 2012 as the Director of Coco Substrate Production. In this role, they successfully developed production facilities across multiple countries. In 2014, they took on a new challenge at Horticulture, before eventually becoming the Chief Financial Officer & Business Development at Bosman Van Zaal in 2015.

Hans de Vette attended RMTuS De Lier from 1983 to 1986, where they pursued a degree in Tuinbouw. Hans also attended HAS green academy from 1981 to 1986. No specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this institution.
