Bas Bakker is a Senior Ecological Advisor at Boskalis Nederland since October 2019, currently leading the nature project for dike reinforcement in Zwolle - Olst. Previously, Bas Bakker served as a Senior Ecological and Landscape Advisor at Heijmans, contributing to various infrastructure projects and overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Prior experience includes roles at Tauw as a Project Leader and Ecological Advisor, responsible for delivering ecological advice within budget and on time, as well as internships at the Western Regional Fisheries Board in Ireland and Staatsbosbeheer, focusing on water quality and fisheries studies. Bas Bakker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Water Management from Het Van Hall Instituut, obtained between 2003 and 2007.
