Jeremy Leavitt has extensive experience in food safety and agricultural sciences, currently serving on the Sustainable Yakima Committee for the City of Yakima and as a member of several advisory and educational committees, including the Produce Safety Advisory Committee and the DACUM Team for Yakima Valley Community College. As the Food Safety & Compliance Director at Borton & Sons Inc., Jeremy manages various safety programs and compliance protocols, while also holding roles as a lead instructor for the FSPCA and the Center for Produce Safety, focusing on training professionals in FDA regulations. Previous positions include Operations and QA Manager at Liberty Orchards Co., Inc., and Project Team Leader at ConAgra Foods, alongside a background in basketball coaching at the Wenatchee School District. Jeremy holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Education from Washington State University and an Associate's degree in Biological Sciences from Wenatchee Valley College.
