Luc Somers has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. Luc began as an English Language Teacher at Instituto Mindset in 2016 and then became a Web and Software Developer as a Freelance in 2017. In 2018, they were a Mobile and Front End Developer at Compart Marketing e Tecnologia, a Co-Founder and Full Stack Developer at diversi5, and a Full Stack Mobile Developer at Pixter. In 2019, they were a Data Engineer and Software Engineer at QuintoAndar, and in 2021 they were a Data Engineer at Tripadvisor. Currently, they are a Senior Data Engineer at Borrowell.

Luc Somers completed a Post-Graduate degree in Computer Software Engineering at FIAP from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government and History from the University of Toronto between 2010 and 2015. In 2015, they attended the University of Mannheim for Politics. Luc also attended Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res in 2014 for a French Language Program. In 2021, they are expected to complete a Data Science Bootcamp from Data Science for All by Correlation One. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained a CELTA certification from Cambridge University (At Cultura Inglesa).
