Jef Lodewijckx is an experienced professional currently serving as the OPEX Manager for Maintenance Efficiency at Borealis Group, a position held since September 2000. In this role, Jef leads and coaches on Contracting and Maintenance Efficiency processes aligned with Borealis Operations' key objectives, including Goal Zero and Operational Excellence. Previous positions at Borealis include Production Manager for a 240,000-ton polypropylene plant and Plant Manager for a 75,000-ton compounding plant. Jef has also held the title of Engineering Manager, overseeing investment projects at multiple locations. Prior experience includes roles as Project Engineer at Jacobs Engineering and Technip Italy, and Mechanical Engineer at Lodewijckx NV - Construction. Jef holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electro-Mechanics from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven, in addition to studies at Impact and Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg.
