Alessandro Tundo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology management and R&D within the electrical and automotive industries. Currently serving as Senior Technology Manager for Energy Strategy and Portfolio at Borealis since March 2022, Alessandro previously held significant roles at Nexans from 2014 to 2022, including Technology Engineering Knowledge Center Manager and Corporate Technical Manager for MV cables. In this capacity, Alessandro coordinated global R&D projects and led initiatives in MV cable systems and the Supergrid Institute Program. Earlier experience includes a technical leadership role at Nexans Italia S.p.A. and a position as R&D Engineer for engine design at Iveco. Alessandro holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Bari, complemented by additional training at Alcatel School and ISVOR FIAT.
