JinSung Kang is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in infrastructure leadership and research, currently serving as Infrastructure Lead and Researcher at Borealis AI since April 2017. Previous roles include Innovation Lab Manager and Research Developer at Architech, focusing on Machine Learning and Human Computer Interaction, as well as Junior Developer with an emphasis on the Internet of Things. JinSung has also held positions at Facebook as a Software Engineer and Hardware Verifications Intern, contributing to power data collection software and hardware testing automation. Earlier experience includes work with Sifteo as an Electrical Engineer, Irdeto as a Quality Assurance Intern, Green Sensor in R&D, and CMK Inc. as an R&D Assistant. JinSung holds a MaSC in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's Degree in Honours Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
