Summer Rankin is an experienced AI Solution Architect at Booz Allen Hamilton, overseeing a team of over 12 data scientists and founding the Women in AI - Hawaii chapter. Prior roles include Senior Lead Data Scientist, where guidance was provided to federal clients on data management and model development, and Lead Data Scientist, responsible for developing predictive tools for policy analysis. Summer also serves as an Instructor for GTK Cyber, creating curriculum for cybersecurity professionals, and has taught data science courses at Metis. Previous academic positions include Adjunct Faculty at The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University and Towson University, focusing on topics in music cognition and biology, respectively.
