Stephen Restaino is an accomplished professional in the fields of biophysics and biomedical engineering, currently serving as the Lead Scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton, where expertise includes biomedical engineering, AI/ML, and medical imaging. With a robust background at MDC Studio as Partner and VP of Engineering, as well as previous leadership experience as CEO of Sonosa Medical, Stephen has successfully raised over $4.5 million in funding and managed multidisciplinary teams. Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech, with a research focus on low-cost diagnostic sensor systems.
