Chris Bateman has a diverse work experience, starting as a Technical Sales Manager at Pentasol FB Limited, where they managed key accounts and achieved significant reductions in failures and downtime. Chris then transitioned to roles at Molson Coors, including roles such as Shift Team Leader, Project Support Manager, and eventually Global Senior World Class Supply Chain Programme Manager, where they delivered cost savings, process efficiencies, and global standardization strategies. Currently, at Boots UK, they serve as the Head of Pharmacy Operations Development, overseeing the design and implementation of efficient pharmacy processes and leading a team to deliver operational improvements and cost savings.

From 1998 to 2002, Chris Bateman attended Nottingham Trent University, where they obtained a B.Sc. in Applied Biology with a focus on Microbiology and Physiology.
