Meghan McDermott has a diverse work experience in the communications and media industry. Meghan started their career as an Anchor/Reporter at KTEN Media in 2005 and continued in this role until 2006. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as an Anchor/Reporter at KYTX CBS19. In 2010, they transitioned into the marketing and communications field, starting as an Account Executive at H3 Media/BSCENE Magazine/Platinum Advertising Agency. Later in the same year, they became the Marketing Director at Lone Survivor Foundation. Meghan also worked as the Director of Communications at Boot Campaign from 2010 until the present, showcasing their skills in strategic communications.
Meghan McDermott received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism/ Media Production from the University of Houston, where they attended from 2001 to 2005.
