Marti Heit's work experience includes a role as an Operations Data Analyst at ResMed starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Boost where they began as a Data Science Intern in September 2021. In this role, Marti leveraged machine learning technologies to generate accurate and engaging sports articles for Boost Sport division of Arria NLG. They also created a pipeline to generate visualizations of shooting efficiency for NCAA Big Ten Basketball Twitter and performed Gaussian Mixture Model Clustering to group basketball players based on style of play. Marti then became a Data Scientist at Boost in June 2022, where they developed automated natural language generation systems for real-time previews and recaps of sporting events. They also implemented standard sport-agnostic functionality in Python and created a Python framework for rule-based natural language generation systems.

Marti Heit's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, which was obtained between the years 2018 and 2021. Currently, Marti is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Data Science at the University of San Francisco, with an expected completion date in 2022.
