Ravi Shankar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Boomi since January 2020, Ravi oversees the full-stack engineering team responsible for the Boomi Event Streams product, having previously managed teams focused on the Data Catalog and Preparation product. Prior to this role, Ravi was a Founding Engineer at UNIFI Software, where the development of a Scala-based backend for big data preparation technology took place. Ravi has also held positions such as Senior Member of Technical Staff at Pivotal, Senior Software Engineer at EMC, and Software Engineer at Informatica, with a strong background in testing frameworks and optimization processes. Ravi holds a B.Tech in Information Technology from Madras Institute of Technology and an MS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
