Daniel Chu is an experienced educational leader with a focus on data-driven goal setting and curriculum development. Currently serving as an Assistant Principal at the NYC Department of Education since September 2017, Daniel also contributes as a Regional Board Member for Booktrust, enhancing literacy for children from low-income families. With a background in consulting and advising for Eskolta LLC, Daniel supports the Annual Transfer School Conference, facilitates workshops, and collaborates with educational stakeholders. Previous positions include teaching various social studies and mathematics courses within the NYC Department of Education and the Harlem Children's Zone, where Daniel emphasized innovative instructional strategies and differentiated learning. Daniel holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Social Studies from the University of Maryland.
