Brenda J. Barrera is a seasoned writer and editor with extensive experience in various roles within the publishing and sports sectors. Currently working as a Booklist Reviewer for Booklist Publications since 2014, Brenda specializes in writing reviews of Adult Nonfiction in Sports & Recreation. Brenda's freelance work spans back to 1994, and previous positions include serving on the USAT Mid-Atlantic Women's Committee and managing communications for the Chicago Marathon and Chicago 2016 Olympic bid.
