Allison M. Escoto is an accomplished book reviewer and librarian with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently, Escoto serves as a Book Reviewer for Booklist and a Columnist for American Libraries Magazine, in addition to holding the position of Head Librarian and Director of Reading Programs at The Center for Fiction. Escoto's prior roles include Administrative Assistant for LibraryReads and Associate Editor for Newtown Literary Journal, alongside freelance work as a copywriter and editor for notable publishers. With a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Queens College and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from SUNY New Paltz, Escoto has developed a strong foundation in literature and library science, effectively managing collections, programming, and community engagement throughout a diverse career.
