Andrew Loan is a highly experienced tax specialist currently serving as a Partner in the Private Client and Tax Department at Boodle Hatfield LLP since June 2023. Previously, Andrew held the position of Partner in the Tax and Structuring Group at Fieldfisher from September 2016 to June 2023, where notable transactions included advising on the acquisitions of Fox's Biscuits and Digital Applications International. Andrew's extensive background also includes a significant tenure at Macfarlanes LLP, where responsibilities spanned from client work to knowledge management within the tax group, along with involvement in several major international transactions. Early career experience includes roles at Herbert Smith and as a Trainee Solicitor. Andrew holds multiple degrees, including a PhD from the University of Cambridge, and has contributed to the International Bar Association's tax committee through various annual conferences.
