Samantha Chiu, MS, AMFT, serves as a Mobile Crisis Clinician at Bonita House since October 2022, focusing on crisis intervention and management in partnership with law enforcement and EMTs. Prior experience includes roles as a Behavior Therapist at the Center for Learning and Autism Support Services, where Samantha utilized applied behavior analysis to support children on the autism spectrum, and as a Mental Health Marriage Family Therapist Trainee for the San Francisco Unified School District, providing counseling and psychoeducation to LGBTQ+ students. Additional experience encompasses positions at YMCA of San Francisco, as well as research assistant work at San Francisco State University's CaSE Lab, and various customer service roles in retail and dental settings. Samantha holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from San Jose State University and a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University.
