Jade Piros de Carvalho currently serves as the Director of the Office of Broadband Development at the Kansas Department of Commerce, advocating for broadband expansion policies at local, state, and federal levels. With a strong background in community engagement and relationship building, Jade has previously held positions such as Director of Industry and Community Relations at IdeaTek, and Director of Marketing at The Hutchinson News. Additional experience includes leadership roles in marketing, public relations, and sales across multiple organizations in south central Kansas, as well as serving as a yoga instructor certified under E-RYT 200 at Genesis Health Clubs and Hutchinson YMCA. Jade's educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Wichita State University.
