Alaa Bukhari has a diverse work experience. Alaa started their career in 2018 as an Engineering Trainee at SABIC, where they conducted research and investigated a case resulting in significant cost savings. In 2019, they worked as a Healthcare Analyst at Draper Dragon Fund, creating investment memos and evaluating start-up companies for potential investments. Alaa then joined Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) as an Assistant Marketing Analyst, achieving yearly KPIs and conducting due diligences for SMEs and startup projects. In 2020, they became a part of Bondai Group, initially serving as the Sales and Customer Experience Lead before taking on roles as the Business Development Lead and KSA Operations Manager. Alaa also worked at the Ministry of Energy, first as a Strategy Analyst and later as an EXPO Project Manager. In 2022, they briefly worked as a Business Development Consultant at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship (MBSC). Currently, Alaa holds the position of Head of B2Bondai at Bondai Group.
Alaa Bukhari completed their high school education at Al Thagher High School, where they earned a High School Diploma in the scientific field. After high school, they attended Washington State University from 2016 to 2017 and studied an Engineering Foundation Year.
In 2017, Alaa enrolled at the University of Rochester, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Alaa completed their undergraduate studies in 2019.
In the summer of 2019, Alaa participated in the Summer Program at Draper University, focusing on entrepreneurship.
In 2020, Alaa furthered their education by enrolling in the Udacity program and earning a Nano-degree in Predictive Business Analytics.
In addition to their formal education, Alaa Bukhari has obtained several certifications. These certifications include the Swiss Global Certificate in Hospitality Operations from the Hotel Institute Montreux in December 2022, Macroeconomic Management in Resource-Rich Countries from the International Monetary Fund in April 2021, Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) from Bloomberg LP in March 2021, Strategy Planning & Execution from Harvard Management Company in September 2020, Business Lending Fundamentals (BLF) from Moody's Corporation in August 2020, Financial Accounting for Lenders (FAL-IFRS) from Moody's Corporation in June 2020, MGF Future Fit Program from Fullbridge in October 2019, Hero Entrepreneurial Program Summer 2019 from Draper University in July 2019, and Misk Internship with Distinction from Misk Academy in May 2019. Additionally, Alaa has completed the Family Assistance and Special Assistance Team SAT Training from SAUDIA AIRLINES in June 2016 and holds certifications in Advanced Scuba Diving from SDI TDI ERDI and Open Water Diving from PADI.
